After More Than Two Years, Chicagoland Re-Launches Cryptocurrency Options Products

On Tuesday, floor time, Chicagoland said it proposed to launch micro bitcoin and ethereum options, which are currently awaiting regulatory review and are expected to start trading on March 28.

This is another cryptocurrency options product from Chicagoland since the launch of bitcoin options in January 2020.

Based on the strength and liquidity of the underlying contracts, our micro options will enable traders to hedge market risk with greater precision and flexibility, said Tim McCourt, global head of equity and foreign exchange products at Chicagoland.
